India cricketer Ambati Rayudu, who is known more for his batting, was suspended from bowling in the international cricket by ICC.
The world cricket body released a report on their website confirming the news. Rayudu was reported for an illegal bowling action during the first ODI between India and Australia in Sydney.
He failed to submit a test of his bowling action with the period of a fortnight and hence, going by the clause 4.2 he was suspended. Rayudu can now only bowl after undergoing a test. The Hyderabad cricketer can still bowl in domestic cricket.
Indian cricket fans were not bothered by the decision by ICC because the Rayudu isn't going to bowl anyway. They made fun of the decision on Twitter. There is some hilarious response from fans.
