Every once in a while, there comes a moment when a long-standing feud culminates in a contest that lives up to the hype. It's been termed the El Clasico of the T20 world, but perhaps we can term it something else, in line with the pop-culture phenomena of the generation - a song of ice and fire, even though the jersey colours may suggest otherwise. Chennai Super Kings - The men in "yellow" - a word that has been wrongly spelt with alarming consistency this year - have been the team to beat over the twelve years since the tournament's inception, having appeared in 8 finals out of the 10 seasons of which they have been a part - though they have managed to win only 3. However, it is this team of aging warriors that has been persisted with, as they have teetered their way, incredibly, to another final. They have been part of several close games, rescue acts (courtesy MS Dhoni), and some insane heists over the course of this tournament, and they certainly aren't a team in their prime - yet they find themselves in the final, and not even the most delusional mind could deny that the man behind the stumps has man-managed and masterminded this campaign, with a brand of shrewdness that boggles the mind.
