South Korean actor Lee Sang Bo has reportedly been arrested on Saturday for drug use in Gangnam District, southern Seoul.
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, Police arrested a man in his 40s on Saturday at his house in Gangnam following a civilian report filed around 2 p.m. on the same day that said there was "a man running around the streets who looks like he is high on drugs."
The man has been charged with the violation of the Narcotic Control Act and is apparently undergoing police investigations. Per the report, it was confirmed with the related authorities that the man who has been arrested is actor Lee Sang Bo. The actor’s Instagram account was switched to private yesterday.
Lee Sang Bo, who appeared in several dramas like Daughters-in-Law, Romance Hunter, and Man Who Dies to Live, currently has no agency representing him and has made no official statements about the recent allegations. He recently starred in KBS melodrama series Miss Monte-Cristo, which aired last year.
