There are Many Sections on XF. The Section which requires the most effort from any individual is Story Section, Right?
One has to give his/her precious time for writing one update of Story. Also his/her creativity is needed for Writing any Story.
So When He/she Post Update of a story, he/she can expect Some Likes, Some Reviews. Likes and Reviews are important for Writer. Because currently it's the only way to get an appreciation for the efforts they are putting. Also they are writing without any payment.
Obviously, I'm not gonna Demand For Salary of Writers. My Point is, One Can Just Chit Chat or Spam in Lounge and Get Likes and Trophies. The Same Thing which Writers get after Considerable amount of Hard work.
I know the Motive behind Like/Reaction feature is to appreciate The Poster. Then just imagine, a person who just spams/cc in one section can get the same appreciation as the writer who spend hours for writing one update of the story.
This thing does not make any sense as a writer. Yes, One can obviously give the excuse that Spammer's one post cannot get as many likes as Writer's one Update. But What about Quantity? The spammer can Spam 5 Posts in One Thread with Total 50-100 Words. While One Avg. Update of story contains 500 Words. So if Writers get 10 Likes which is Hard AF if you are writing Non Adult Story and not active in the lounge. The Spammer can easily overtake with more 10 Post without any hard work.
Another excuse one can give is Don't pay attention to Likes or Trophies as Writer. If So, Then why they exist?
If you think my point is valid then you can add feature exclusive for story section like Writer's Point and Trophies based on That Points.
Btw, I'm not complaining. I'm just giving a suggestion as Fan of XF.
