Marvel has had a golden couple of years. After the glowing successes of Thor Ragnarok, Black Panther and Avengers Infinity War and Endgame which smashed records, Spider-Man Far Frome has toppled the 1 billion dollar (Rs 6897 crore) mark at the worldwide box office.

The previous highest-grossing Spider-Man film was the third in the Tobey Maguire trilogy which made 890 million dollars.

Marvel fans were more than overjoyed that Spider-Man Far From Home achieved this milestone.
