So my question is regarding to the rule number 16 where at least 5 participants are needed for the awards to announced or else the awards WILL NOT BE ANNOUNCED. So I want to ask, what if i post my story which could have been a winner but because there have not been enough entries it is LOST as no winners are announced??!! This will mean that i created something which goes in VAIN!! Then why did i waste my time to imagine, to work out my brain to write something special for the contest?

What if everyone is thinking the same and waiting for others to post first ? If people will start thinking like this then there will be no entries.

5 days are left and only 2 entries till now from which one is disqualified. and the other one is very feeble to be considered. i have already written my story in HINGLISH which is over 4990 words.... and it is dear to me. but i am not posting because i do not want it to be in vain!! even if it is not the winner I do not want it to go unnoticed with 5 or 6 entries only.
So you guys decide and tell me will my story be awarded if only three or 5 entries are there? If the case is that it will not be awarded if there are less than 10 entries then i better not post it.
i had told you guys to wait, not to hurry to start a contest now... i had said its too early... but i dont know why you guys were in such a hurry!!
where are the posters of the contest? I WILL WAIT TILL THE LAST DATE TO POST MY ENTRY. SO IF THERE ARE NOT OVER 10 ENTRIES I WILL KEEP MY STORY FOR ANOTHER CONTEST!

Contest should be fair right ? imagine getting an award for a story when there were only 3 stories competing. Lemme clarify one more thing, according to rule 16, only "award/medal" will not be given if entries are less than 5, rest all benefits the user will get.


And if this contest doesn't get any good response, there will be no story contests in future. If people are not interested then there is no use of organizing it.

Yes if there will not be enough entries its not worth organising another contest. But I feel they are all waiting the last moment to post. So let me wait as well. I also have an English story written some time back.....If I see less entries in English I will post the English one as well. But if there will be over 5 English stories posted I wont post mine. We got an entry today. HINDI is not my forte.... i feel it is a story already existing in devnagri which the poster cunningly wrote in Hinglish..... well its just a doubt I cannot confirm that
However lets wait and see

Hello, Organising Team please start making the entries INDEX, they are important.
The index of the entries must be updated as soon as posted. So that we do not get to scroll that much to find the latest entries.
Both English and Hindi stories INDEX must be made as soon as possible PLEASE!

We are watching this thread regularly. The date extension thing was being discussed among the staff members as the response was slow first. Other queries were already answered already.
