Lucifer sirji I'm planning to write three stories this USC but as you know only the first two entries are considered for contention. I'm already halfway through my first but I know that 3rd one will be best of the lot. Is it possible that latter two are considered instead of the first. I'm writing first one just for fun

Never wrote anything less than 40k words, plus was busy in my exams, so wanted to start from something easy first when I'm short on time.

I have plot for the later ones in my mind but I'll need to google up something for later ones as I will need to use references in 2nd one, and last one is something a entirely new genre for me, so I will pick it up when I'm sure I can pull it in the word limit for the USC. Still it's too short for me why don't you guys give maximum word limit of a post?

No problem at all. Post as many stories as you like. Later, you can PM the organizer to let them know which two stories you'd like to officially submit for the competition.

Also, 8000 words are more than enough for a short story — that way, readers will actually give reviews, and results can be declared on time too... unlike the usual delays caused by lazy judges.

As Yug said you can post however many stories you want but make sure to inform Me which two you want as contesting, before the closing of this thread, if you fail to do so first two will be considered Contesting.

But isn't it wrong to allow someone post contesting stories after first 2 post.
Like kal ko aur bhi koi 3-4 story likhega aur use lagega ki last story best hai, then he/she will also ask the same.

Tum 1000 story likho judging process thread close hone k baad suru hoti hai tabtak confirm kardo ki ye 2 contesting hain. usc means apna best dena or ussi k liye hum force karte hain writers ko , confusion nahi rehna chahiye writer ko ki ye pehle post karun ya woh. That's why it's simple.

Only 2 stories per user are allowed. (Do remember that posting two entries is optional, you can post only one entry as well). Posting more than two stories, the latest ones, will be considered as non-competing.

Means this rule is just optional?
