Thanks and Congrats

This Thread is to congratulate the Admins of XForum including the organising team of the recent Valentine Contest which was a true success despite the lateness and few ups and downs which always occur during any type of contest.

So by just ignoring the ups and downs and coming to the contest itself, I can say that for a new forum like XF it has been a wonderful job accomplished by all those who were involved in the making of the contest.
I learned during the running of the contest itself that the majority of the staff members were undergoing exams so were absent and thus only a few present staff members had to handle and deal with the contest issues namely Lucifer who was the Oganising team leader. I place my words of appreciation to Lucifer for undergoing those tough moments alone and dealing with all issues successfully. I was myself pointing out issues during the contest and he was always present to see to it that everything goes smoothly. Hats off Lucifer.

Special words of appreciation to those who READ the stories before allowing the points. That is a tough job I know that pretty well. So hats off to you guys who got to read those stories one by one be they boring or monotonous you got to read all to allow the points. You all did a really good job. Bravo.

And finally congrats to all participants. I understand how it feels not to win as everyone writes with the hope to be declared the winner, each and every writer thinks his story is the best, this is human nature, but when one reads the story of his competitor HONESTLY he can easily see that his story was a mere little thing compared to a really good story.

I have personally participated in many story contests in the past, where I gave my best Stories which my readers found the best but others found it NOT deserving to be the first..... this is also human's nature; those who love and follow a writer will want his beloved writer to be the winner and those who are against will talk the contrary and criticise. In the past, my story like Annabelle which is till date a story which gets many literary positive critics was never awarded the best story, why because there were other stories which were more deserving. So, should I have complained and shouted that the contest was biased etc? No, I should have been honest and read the deserving stories and see if they really were deserving, which I did and remained quiet because other stories were really wonderful too. Even the judges got troubles to share the points when there are too many good written stories....

So said guys lastly, I tend to congratulate all the winners and participants, and wish and hope that such contests take place again and participants do get the opportunities to add their creations once more.
thanks all and :congrats:

Hail Lucifer :yo:
Due to lack of time, I'll make this short and simple :D.
1. We (all admin team) organized this contest due to huge demands of members and specially writers, thanks guys to make this contest successful :flowers:
2. Participants try their hard and written their own stories ( except one). Congrats again you guys :congrats: Your participation and your stories give judges really hard time.
3. As we know, every time when someone wins others starts praising him/her but still there're some extraordinary creatures ( :asw: in short) who wants attention :sigh: Carl did this shit in xp, and unfortunately he did this here too :sigh:
