Yes!!! Now let me tell you something.
There are two types of writers.

1) The plotters ~

a) knows everything about their characters.
b) each desires, goals, their past.
c) some secrets and surprises.
d) does all the research before writing.
e) knows his plot.

2) The pansters ~

a) writes on instinct.
b) improves as events unfolds without advance planning.
c) figures things around as the story goes.
d) plot doesn't go with the writer, writer goes with the plot wherever it takes him.

Akhir kyu me mein panster tha. Mere paas general idea tha. Woh yeh ki neha hate karti hai aur uske peechhe ka reason aisa aisa hota hai. Apart from that... I had no clue at all kahani ko kaise kaha le jaana hai.

But this time??? I penned down the entire plot of the story. Kis arc me kya hona hai, kaise hona hai sab kuchh. And, you can see the difference.

Aapne story hi aysi likhi thi jab main ne end padha tha na toh aysa laga ye kya hua be ye toh khatam hogai story.......
wo story ke hate wale scene kya scene the aaj bhi kabhi kabhi yaad ate hai mujhe...but sad ki story ki ending aysi thi ki story incomplete lagti hai..... aur vo last dialog kya tha "abhi nahi gudiya" maybe....
Story ek ayse mod pe chhuti hai jish se aap ishka part 2 create kar sakte hai maybe....

Yaani bro aapki wo likhi hui plot ki copy hi udaani hogi agar predict karna hai to ya nahi to same aapke tarah sochna hoga jo ki thoda hard hai.
apart from that both are good at their thing means plotters and pansters both are good .i have seen mostly pansters here 90% and 10% are god as themselves switch karte hai story ke bich mein. so no argument between the two.
Wese update ki preparations kar rahe ho kya ,readers ne bhi 3 se 4 din mein target complete kar diya tha. Literally readers god mode mein chal rahe hai abhi .

Pantsers ke liye mostly cheezein easy hoti hai. Unhe general idea ka pata hota hai, daily brainstorm karne se kuchh na kuchh dimaag me aata hi jaata hai toh story ko kahi bhi ghumaya jaa sakta hai. Ye writer ke khud ke liye bhi fun hota hai kyunki use khud nahi pata hota ki plot kaha jaa sakta hai. Achanak se hota hai aur use likhne me bhi maza aata hai agar plot tagda jaa raha hai toh...!!! Dikkat aayi hai jab kabhi kabhi out of ideas ho jaata hai writer. Aise me updates ki quick demand aur acchhe plot ka dimaag me na aana uss waqt aksar kahaniyo ko kuchh aur mod deta hai.

Plotters ke liye scene alag hota hai. Humein pata rehta hai plot ko kaise le jaana hai. Lekin, humaare liye likhne me zyada fun nahi rehta because we spoil ourselves already. Sab pata rehta hai. Bas, kuchh hi parts me likhne me maza aata hai jaha kuchh tagda ho raha ho. It's a huge responsibility to write without having that much fun. Hum basically, sirf readers ke entertainment ke liye iss hadd tak jaate hai.

Stephen king for example, the god of horror writing. The one who gave us IT, the shining, etc. is known for being a pantser.

While, JRR Tolkien ( one who wrote lord of the rings, the Hobbit, etc) was a plotter.

So, each have their own merits and demerits.
