Hindi writers don't dive into the fantasy a lot actually... Pehle ke writers likhte the kuchh jaise yahi chandrakanta for example... But uss level ka exploration nahi hai jaise foreign authors ne kiya hai.

Even the Indian english writers struggle a lot. You must have a good grasp on English literature, and a mind boggling plot. Only then you may survive in the fantasy market.

Horror me story ghisi piti hi hoti hai man. Bas horror achha hota hai toh hi succesful hoti hai story.
Agar, The shining nahi dekhi toh try kar sakte hai.
