I joined this forum in Dec 2019... but my first story on this site came only in Aug 2020. Good experience with the site members overall. Met (virtually) with some nice individuals (exceptions are always there). Had good and enjoyable time here.

When I started, I think there was some nice content here - stories as well as images, which is enjoyable. There still are a few writers and content producers who I follow and like. During this time, I wrote a few stories and I hope that some members found my stories enjoyable as well!

However, of late, I think the content quality (esp. Hindi story section) has really taken a big hit and has considerably nosedived. While, it is good that more and more people try to write something, they do it just for eyeballs (views), and not for showing/enhancing their writing skills. There is no thought put to their "stories". It is almost always the same rotten, son-on-top-of-mom crap! ... more and more and more and more of it, till nausea sets in. Height of illiteracy is that most people do not even understand what incest really is! Bhabhi-Devar is not incest. Chachi-Bhateeja is not incest. These are examples of adultery at best. Not incest. Anyway.

Situation is deteriorated even further, as so many stories are left midway. Perhaps the "writers" had been copying it from somewhere. So, when the original tap dries off, they are left with dicks in their hand! So many stories have annoying images/gifs. They take time to load, and when you are reading some paragraph, it skips/scrolls down because of slow loading of images. Annoying!

English story section is even more pitiable! Man, it really has not enough readers, despite having some nice content. Irony is that people want to read Hindi stories in English, but... *drumroll* can't even read and understand English stories! ha ha ha! "धोबी के कुत्ते" वाली कहावत सटीक बैठती है! Apparently, people these days can't understand Hindi written in Devanagari, and can't understand English written in Roman (or simply can't understand English)! Don't know what is worse really! But... we can't solve societal problems, can we?

Going forward, some thoughts to share:

(1) Please allow writers to select more than one category? For example, a story can be Romance + Thriller? Or Incest + Fantasy? Please think about it.
(2) Can we add more new categories, such as Comedy/Humor or Historical or Mystery?
(3) Is it possible to make inactive (incomplete) stories invisible? Or pushed to a separate section of Inactive/Incomplete stories?
(4) Create a separate section for 'Hinglish' stories?

As such, it is hard to say, where we are going with this forum. But I believe that with a bit of direction, and concrete actions, it can be made a good content site. I loved how a firm stand was taken for religious and political and interfaith content. It sets right examples and expectations.

Although I do agree with that mom-son crap which is getting a little too much in here but it doesn't changes the fact that there are also many other phenomenal stories running here. (Not based on sex fully.) Now I don't know whether you have visited each and every thread and then you are making this statement or you're just taking guesses based on your general view.
Each writer is different in his own aspect. You may write for your pride or showing skills. I personally write because I want to give quality content to the readers. And, I go to even extreme lengths to even drawing hand-made sketches for them.
But it's also true that in exchange I do wish for likes and reviews. It's a give n take relationship. If I'm not getting any support, I will just leave. I do have a job after all.

It's true actually. Day-by-day translators are increasing. I don't call them writers, I call them translators. If a guy is writing an already English written story in hindi from somewhere then he's a translator. Not a writer. They are increasing in numbers. And, they choose stories which are often above 1000+ chapters thinking that they'll have enough content to survive on xf. But slowly they lose their own interest or just can't keep up with the demands of the readers. Hence, leaving the story then and there.

Also, gifs and images are personal choices of writers. Too much gifs will take a little time to load. Writers can give a note above the update that please wait until the update fully loads with all the gifs. Because not everyone has High speed internet.

Ye tabhi possible hoga jab Xenforo me aisa koi layout hoga. Remember! Jitne naye features chaahiye honge, utne aur paise dene honge servers ko.

Xforum is not a site developed by our admins. Xenforo is the software responsible for this. So... If you need something more. You'll have to first see whether xenforo offers this feature or not. And, then pay that amount. Then only we'll get those features.

I write in hinglish. But I've never made fun of Hindi or devnagari writers or even the language itself. I too can write in devnagari. मुझे कोई दिक्कत नहीं होती।

But the reason I chose hinglish is because I can type it faster, it is understandable by almost everyone and has a high reach. And, also I'm habitual in talking in hinglish on social media or any other platforms.

Or do you just want a seperate section for devnagari? Because, hinglish section won't go anywhere.

It's been more than 5 years since I joined xf and I've seen many devnagari writers hating on hinglish writers more specifically the language itself. I can name them right here but you know who I'm talking about.

So, what's up with this? I really want to know clearly. Is it jealousy for not getting enough recognition because of hinglish's existence? Is it anxiety because of not getting enough views? Is it fear of lacking out because of not getting enough reviews for your writing skills?

What's up with this hate?

My message was clearly in response to the first post by Aakash. I thought I must suggest a few things that "may" take the forum forward.
If you have something to suggest to moderators, please feel free to do it.

No! What I was asking is the reason behind the hate. It's clearly evident that Devanagari writers have some kind of fued with the hinglish writers or the language itself. Aakash. or any other moderator won't be able to help me because they don't know what's going on inside devanagari writers' mind. Only you guys can clear it.
