Advice Needed How to avoid advertisements

I am facing some problem on this site. Some advertisements, which are of adult content pop out from somewhere and stay on the page for long. Previously I was able to watch this site with someone also because no one gives attention but when an adult picture is there the person sitting near automatically starts watching what I am reading. Secondly I am unable to read the stories, these ads interrupt me. I need to scroll up and down to read stories, because these cover most of the page. I have blocked third party cookies but still it happens. Kindly suggest me what to do to avoid these advertisements.
