Adam Zampa: 'We bowled well collectively. The quicks upfront were amazing, Virat is a serious player, it was good to take his wicket when we did. I don't think he's my bunny, he's one of the hardest players to bowl to. I was under a bit of pressure, if he had hit a couple of more boundaries, the momentum would have shifted towards them. The message from the management and the coach was to take wickets, the mindset was the same. The wickets here in India are pretty good and the outfield fast, that has a say in your bowling.'

It is very rare that a Kohli hundred goes in vain - only the 8th loss in 41. But credit to Australia for coming all guns firing with the new ball. That opening burst from Cummins and Richardson was where the visitors won the game and also ensured they withstood the onslaught by the Indian skipper. In an innings where the next best is 32, Kohli scored a 95-ball 123 and seemed unperturbed by the uneven nature of the surface. The game was in the bag for Australia once Zampa went past the centurion. There was too much to do for the lower-order and they couldn't handle the pressure. Hang around for the presentations..
