Prithvi Shaw | MoM: I thought I missed the opportunity to finish the game for the team. Rather than scoring one run, I was looking to hit it big because I didn't want the game to get this close. But the boys finished it off really well in the super over and I think we deserve this win. I spoke to my support-staff, Ricky sir, Sourav sir, Praveen sir and I figured out that I was going a little too hard early. After getting two fours in an over I was looking to do silly things. So I changed my plan and looked to take my time and hit along the ground. I think the pitch changed a bit, the bowlers' marks opened up and Kuldeep and Piyush were getting good turn. Batting became difficult for us because their slower ones were working quite well, but we were looking to pick the singles and doubles. I have ten more matches to come and I am hoping to continue with the same intensity in the rest of them as well and give my 100-percent.

Shreyas Iyer | Winning skipper: Definitely a long day at the office. We didn't expect it to go that deep, expecting us to finish it in the last or second last over; but credit must go to Kuldeep Yadav for that over, taking that pressure and getting through. You can't control Andre Russell when he gets going. A team needs a player like him who can swing from the first ball itself. Even his mistimes go for sixes and even the bowlers find it tough to plan against him when things don't go to plan. All our top-four batsmen decided that whoever gets going should take the side home, and Prithvi Shaw took that responsibility and executed it for us. He's got a lot of talent and hopefully he can continue doing it for us and keep giving us such starts in every game. I am really happy that all of us are taking the responsibility and contributing really well; really happy with myself as well because I told myself that I won't let the pressure come onto me after a few dots. Kagiso is a belter of a bowler and at his pace it is tough to hit him. I had a chat before the super over and he told me that he would go for yorkers all through, first, second, third, fourth, every ball. The first one didn't come off well, but the way he came back takes some special skill to execute.
