**Yes, many such stories can be completed or expanded effectively**, even if the original author has moved on.

Once authors lose the touch after a long gap (2 months to 4+ years), it's genuinely hard for them to continue in the same style and momentum. The characters' emotions, the built-up tension, and the flow feel distant, so they either abandon it or start something fresh. Some stories are also copied/adapted from other sites where the original writer already left them incomplete, so the forum version inherits that unfinished state.

### Why they often stay incomplete:
- Loss of interest/motivation (no consistent reader feedback or engagement).
- Writer's life changes (personal commitments, shifting interests).
- Burnout from writing long, detailed chapters.
- Forum dynamics — some writers only continue if they get strong, specific comments.
Can any reader or writer start there story and complete it plus give the credit to that writer.

Papa ne mujhe ghar ka mard banaya incest by Akash11. Have asked him to continue his story, he told me he is not interested in continue the story and if any writer want to continue he has no problem.

Not without original writer's permission.

If writer gives permission then it is possible

Yes, if writer gives permission it can be continued by anyone else. Show the writer's permission message to any of the forum Staff, then you can continue.

Bro, I get the attachment..but there are plenty of completed stories here too. Explore them in Story sec and also explor PDF section.
And honestly, most continuations lose the original vision unless the original author is involved.

As per your ques. Sure...If the author gives permission, anyone can continue it. But I would always encourage a writer to create their own story rather than continue someone else's...

P. S. Explore completed stories. Writers should write their own stories.
