She grab the cold water, and then walked upwards towards her room, but then she the lights of Sonu's room were on. Generally Sonu were to sleep early, she got little surprised
"How come he is awake at 2 in the night ", she thought, "Is he okay".
The door was opened, generally Sonu would lock is door. He was a typical secretive person, and did not like his parents, specially his mother entering his personal space, which was the case with normal middle class family- so as to say. And how it happens in a normal Indian middle class family, she was to take extra care of her son!
She first thought of knocking the door, but as it happens, she had become anxious to see what he was doing, if he was not into drugs, or watching porns, or he is not well. Mothers are mothers it is said!
She then paused in front of his door, and then tried to peep inside the room, and she wa surprised to hear,

She went back down again to grab the water, her brain was working over time. After grabbing the glass of water- she went upstairs and then laid on her bed. She could not sleep, & slept very late. This was the first time in their life, that Usha could not wake up to make them lunch or breakfast. Raju, also did not disturb her. He just kissed on her forehead and left for work.
Sonu also was surprised, as his mother was the first one to wake up, and he had most of the times found her in kitchen. Sensing that she would not be too well, he also left for the college.
Usha woke up very late - around 11:30 am. Her first reaction was to look for her husband, and then in anticipation she looked at the time to figure out the time. She had never slept so late in her life.
She then went to Sonu's room, who had already left for his college by then. Though she would never enter
