Thanks for response. no platform can work without content and in this forum too there are various content providers who post stories, pics, game threads including spams, inviting visits of more members as readers, who comment, feel aghast, troll, laud and all this interaction leads to eye balls and foot falls necessary for the ad revenue to come. simple business as owners will have to pay for the server and some more admin cost as non profit no loss, donations will always be meager ( ad has come up again at the bottom right corner, where i had to press the post reply, right on the top of the reply tab). so adds are essential. agreed.
but think of dilemma of a writer like mine who has to invest a lot of time in doing a story post or poetry. I any ways follow a very convoluted way, I type in Google language tool as it has to be in HINDI and copy paste it in MS word. Re-read it sometimes check for references,... and only after that i start posting but again i have to go imgbb for adding picture, look at the various sources for appropriate gif or jpg file ( i post a lot of non-erotic pics too to suit the mood) and then and my every post includes, 3 to 4 posts. Now all this requires at least 3-4 hours time, both physical and mental effort. And after posting visit two three times a day hankering for some reaction, and i feel it is my duty to respond to that that.
and I am not all alone, every content provider will be jumping through this loop ( or some other loop)
and we are expecting them to ' pay for posting, howsoever reasonable sum' , its not 'pay per post to read' but 'pay per per post to post' !
can anything be more ironical ?
we must find a mid-way. solution i had suggested was aka you tube, let the add come on the left side in the margins, or any area where no action tabs are located, with an option to skip after 4 seconds or so and once it vanishes, it should never come again on that page.
secondly i find that the content providers are as much stake holders in a forum as admin or IT or business team. If a forum perishes they are divested of the readership an oxygen for them. ask me after closure of ok previous forum, where my story remained unfinished and i have to work from the scratch. and believe men provision of content requires a lot of effort, my story Phagun ke din chaar made me go through at least 4 books, cover to cover, dealing with the cyber security, economics of terror etc. For my thread on Satyajit Ray, again,... so my only humble request is kindly recognize we too are there, mere mortal content providers and do contribute in our own itsy bitsy way.
so please posting in this forum a joy, which is was till these pooping things started raising there head.
