Divya—ye baat to samajh me aa gayi..lekin kya tumhe lagta hai ki pari itni asani se hame apne maqsad me kamyab ho jane degi ? ya phir kisi par hamla nahi karegi ?

Mrinal ne baki sakhiyo ko daant dapat kar vaha se bhaga diya aur phir priyadarshini ko le kar mahal aa gayi parantu uska hriday abhi bhi saajan virah ke dukh me adheer ho raha tha.

Priyadarshini (udas)—dekho na sakhi, kitna samay beet gaya hai..jane kab main saajan se milungi ? yaha mahal me ye shaiyya (bistar) kisi nagin ki bhanti mujhe dasti hai..mera mandir soona hai saajan ke bina..dekho sawan ke badal kitna pani barsa rahe hain, poori dharti me hariyali chhayi hai lekin main virah dukh me sookh rahi hu..jane kab main saajan se milungi aur mere dil me bhi hariyali chhayegi ? mera mann bawla ho gaya hai..sara sansar jal me dooba hua lag raha hai, usme meri jeevan nauka khene wale mere saajan ke bina main main iss athaah sagar me doobti ja rahi hu.

Mrinal—pareshan mat ho sakhi, saajan tujhe jarur milega, bas thoda dhairya rakh..vah din door nahi jab tere gale me saajan ki baaho ka haar hoga. Apne aap ko sambhalo..jab se dharti se aayi ho sach me ekdam bawli ho gayi ho..tumhari aisi halat dekh kar kahi devraj ko shaq ho gaya to sab gadbad ho jayegi.

Priyadarshini (nam aankhen)—tum hi batao sakhi, main kya karu ? saajan ke bina mera kahi mann hi nahi lag raha, na to kisi se baat karna hi achcha lagta hai aur na hi khana peena aur na hi kisi ke paas utha baithna..main tumhare hath jodti hu sakhi, kisi bhi tarah kuch bhi kar ke bas ek baar mujhe saajan se milwa do, tumhara ye upkar main jeevan bhar nahi bhulungi, bas ek bar sakhi..mujhe saajan se mila do..warna main sach me pagal ho jaungi. Mujhe ye swarg ka sukh, ye aishwarya, ye daivi shaktiya, ye amaratv kuch nahi chahiye, mujhe to bas mera saajan chahiye..mujhe saajan se mila do sakhi..bas ek baar mila do..

Itna kahte kahte vah rone lag gayi, uski halat sach me behad dayneey ho chuki thi. mrinal abhi kuch kahne hi ja rahi thi ki tabhi......

Vahi yha dharti par, raj aur divya ke beech kuch baate ho rahi thi, rajgarh ke naye ghar me pravesh karne ke uparant..

Raj—dusri vajah ye hai ki ye bunglow uss jagah par banaya hua hai jaha par Pari ko jamin me dafnaya gaya tha.

Divya (shocked)—kyaaaaaaa ?

Raj—hmmm, te sach hai..

Divya—phir to ye jagah behad khatarnak hai..aise me ye jagah kyon chuni ? kahi aur bhi to ghar le sakte the city me ...

Raj—le sakta tha lekin isse mera maqsad poora nahi hota..jaha tak khatre ki baat hai to vo to poore rajgarh me kahi bhi ghar leta, khatra har jagah hota...magar vaha se khatra kam nahi hota.

Divya—main samjhi nahi,,jabki yaha se kam hi khatra hota dusri jagah phir yaha kyon ?

Raj—ye to sach hai ki yaha khatra jyada hai lekin yahi jagah hai jaha se khatra khatam bhi kiya ja sakta hai...bas ye samajh lo ki ye faisla do dhaari talwar ki tarah hai. Jisme kabhi bhi kisi ki bhi jaan ja sakti hai..kintu ye bhi utna hi sach hai ki rajgarh me sirf yahi ek jagah hai jaha se pari roopi khatre ka samna karte huye use samapt kiya ja sakta hai. Isliye maine yahi jagah chuni..

Divya—vo kaise ? aur main to samajh rahi thi ki hum uss jungle ke rajmahal me rahne wale hain, akhir hamara maqsad to vahi rahna tha, pari ka samna to vaha rah kar bhi to kiya ja sakta tha ?

Raj—vaha rah kar pari ka samna karna bahut mushkil tha, ek to vo jagah pari ki sadhna sthali hai, jaha uski shaktiya apne charam par hongi, dusra, aise me vaha sabki jaan hamesha khatre me rahti, aur teesra, vaha se iss khatre ko khtam nahi kiya ja sakta...kyonki uske sharir ka antim sanskar kiye bina uski mukti sambhav nahi ho sakti aur na hi ye khatra khatam kiya ja sakta hai.

Divya—ye baat to samajh me aa gayi..lekin kya tumhe lagta hai ki pari itni asani se hame apne maqsad me kamyab ho jane degi ? ya phir kisi par hamla nahi karegi ?

Raj—vo hame iss maqsad se door rakhne ki poori koshish karegi aur iske liye vo kisi bhi hadh tak ja sakti hai..kisi par bhi hamla kar sakti hai..aur yaha tak ki jaan bhi le sakti hai kisi ki bhi..jo bhi uske raste me ayega..

Divya (tension)—phir to yaha bahut khatra rahega..

Raj—vo to hai...pari ka asli maqsad hame uss jungle ke rajmahal tak le jana hai, jo hamne nahi kiya..vo poori koshish karegi hame vaha tak le jane ki..iske liye vo koi bhi maya rach sakti hai ya bhram ki sthiti paida kar sakti hai..hame uske inhi bhram jaal se bach kar rahna hoga..aur ye mat samajhna ki pari ko hamare mansubo ka pata nahi hoga, balki mujhe poora yakeen hai ki vo yaha rahne ka hamara maqsad samajh gayi hogi..isliye savdhan rahna..khas kar ke sandhya se..uske sath akele kahi mat aana jana aur na hi kisi ko jane dena..

Divya—kya tumhe pata hai ki pari ki dead body itne bade ghar me kaha par hai ?

Raj—nahi, hame iska pata lagana hoga aur ye behad mushkil kaam hai..par risk to lena hi padega..

Abhi main aur divya baat kar hi rahe the ki tabhi mujhe darwaje ke keyhole se do aankhen jaise andar hame jhaankti huyi si mahsoos huyi to hum dono hi chounk gaye.
