कई बार जिस रूपक का मैं प्रयोग कर रही हूँ अगर बहुत स्पष्ट नहीं हों तो उसकी व्याख्या कर देना उचित रहता है. और इसलिए मैंने एक लिंक भी इस गुड़िया की कहानी के लिए दे दिया। यह परम्परा उत्तर प्रदेश के कई हिस्सों में है और गूगल देव भी इसकी पुष्टि करते हैं

Content user has to pay... If you are not payer then its a free service.
However site owner may earn something from Ad revenue.

and here my perception is slightly different. persons like me who are writing stories and attracting traffic should be identified as content user or content creator?

Let us take analogy of IPL and here again main source of revenue is advertisement through media right. Those who are going to watch the match either in the stadia or on web or on TV, they should be dubbed as content user and rightly so as they are being entertained and they should pay for the artificial excitement being generated, but should the IPL players also pay for playing as they are also watching the match and anyways they enjoy the playing, like you go a bowling alley and you pay for the game or in village fair you shoot balloons and you have to pay.

The difference between IPL players and those who play after paying in a bowling alley is that in the first situation IPL players are generating revenue for TV and web Net work who in turn pay the BCCI and franchises also earn. so players get a part of the revenue.

In these forums people like us trigger eyeballs and foot falls ( i will not be generating much but other popular writers must be) and we invest our time. so the question is genuine.

You tube is another example.

However i am not sure that margins are enough to pay. But my emphasis is that the content creators must be distinguished from content user and at least it should not be expected that after spending time and effort, they should also pay to get their content posted, It will be adding insult to injury,

Not about this forum ( and that is why i am still perched here) but in many forums my experience is that the admin team does not bother about the content quality. In one case in one group after failure of previous group, i was invited to join and i asked the person behind the group naively that does he like reading stories? and answer was he never reads. I was thinking maybe he reads English stories and i dared to speak again and he bluntly told me that for years he has not read any story or any such thing.

so i do agree the businee part is important and nobody wants forum to go bust but every time 3 pages open and only then you can like and many time they will confirm. it is too much,

but ours is not to reason why
